Acquisition of a majority stake in Barth Logistikgruppe. This transport and logistics company has been operating in Germany for more than 70 years.
2009
Sale of some non-core businesses following consolidated acquisitions.
2000/2009
BMV continues its development with the acquisition of specialised companies: Groupe CHARLES ANDRE de la GRENOBLOISE TDE, BLUE FOX LOGISTIQUE, RAPID’OPÉRA.
1998
Compagnie Générale d’Investissements et de Participation becomes the Holding Company that owns the subsidiaries of the BMV network.
1996
The Group’s resources are brought together under the banner of the BMV Network.
1960/94
The company steps up its expansion by acquiring a series of companies with varied and complementary areas of expertise.
1950/60
Investment in real estate and industrial facilities in Chalon, Lyon, Mâcon, Dijon and Paris.
The company becomes a rail and road consolidator.
1939/45
Mobilisation of all the company’s leaders.
1930/39
Development of road services between Paris and Lyon.
Establishment in Saône et Loire.
1928
Creation of the first road service between Paris and Dijon.
The company takes the name of VIROLLE FRERES ET COMPAGNIE.
1923
Opening of the Besançon and Dijon branches.
1902
Overnight delivery on the Lyon—Marseille railway line.
Mr BOULEGUE and Mr DUREL found the “courier forwarder” transport company.
